Deck Work
Good to Know
Signs your deck needs repair
Boards that feel soft or bounce, railings that move when you lean on them, stairs that wobble, nails popping up and rust stains around fasteners are all signs it is time for a repair. Near the coast, these show up sooner because of salt air and humidity.
Catching them early usually means replacing a few boards or a railing instead of rebuilding the whole deck.
Good to Know
Repair or rebuild?
If the joists, beams and posts are solid, we can replace the boards, stairs and railings and the deck is good for years. If the framing is rotted, a rebuild is the safer choice. We check the structure and tell you honestly which one you need.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you replace just a few boards?
Yes. If the framing underneath is solid, we replace only the bad boards and match them as closely as we can.
Is my railing safe?
If it moves when you push on it, it should be fixed. We tighten, reinforce or replace railings and posts.
Can you switch my deck boards to composite?
Often, yes, if the framing is in good shape and spaced for composite. We check before we price it.
Do you handle rental and turnover deck repairs?
Yes. We work with property managers and rental owners and can work around move-outs and bookings.

What Customers Are Saying
“Jacob with NSEA Restoration built my replacement fence and a retaining wall for me behind it. Both items he was the best quote I received and was dealing with my majorly eroding back yard drainage ditch. Both get compliments all the time now from neighbors as well.”
“Jacob at NSEA Restoration is wonderful to work with! My fiancé and I recently moved into a new house that was in need of a few updates, as well as, a fence installation. Jacob and his team built us a beautiful fence in record time! He was also super friendly and helpful when I asked if they were available to help out with a few handyman jobs that our home was in need of. I would absolutely recommend NSEA Restoration to all my family, friends, and clients. They get the job done!”
