Good to Know
Repair or replace?
Most fences don't need to be replaced. If the posts are solid, we can usually replace the broken pickets and rails, rehang the gate and add new hardware for a fraction of the cost of a new fence.
When several posts are rotted at the ground, or the whole fence is leaning, replacing those posts or rebuilding the section is the better fix. We will tell you honestly which one makes sense and price it both ways if you want.
Good to Know
After a storm
Wind and fallen limbs are the most common reasons a fence comes down in the Cape Fear region. We clear the debris, reset or replace the damaged posts and rebuild the section so it matches the rest of the fence.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my fence leaning?
Usually because a post has rotted at the ground or was set too shallow. Replacing or resetting that post in concrete straightens the section.
Why won't my gate latch?
Gates sag when the hinge post moves or the frame racks over time. We brace or rebuild the gate, adjust the hinges and set the latch again.
Can you match new boards to my old fence?
We match the style and size. New wood will look lighter at first and blends in as it weathers or once it is stained.
Do you fix fences for property managers?
Yes. We handle fence repairs as part of turnover and work-order jobs and send photos when the work is done.

What Customers Are Saying
“Jacob with NSEA Restoration built my replacement fence and a retaining wall for me behind it. Both items he was the best quote I received and was dealing with my majorly eroding back yard drainage ditch. Both get compliments all the time now from neighbors as well.”
“Jacob at NSEA Restoration is wonderful to work with! My fiancé and I recently moved into a new house that was in need of a few updates, as well as, a fence installation. Jacob and his team built us a beautiful fence in record time! He was also super friendly and helpful when I asked if they were available to help out with a few handyman jobs that our home was in need of. I would absolutely recommend NSEA Restoration to all my family, friends, and clients. They get the job done!”
